TechBridge is a nonprofit that arms other nonprofits on the frontline of alleviating the causes of poverty and technology that will allow them to expand the impact of their mission for the millions of men, women, and children who suffer from lack of access to shelter, food, employment, education, healthcare, and financial literacy.

The Technology Career Program (TCP) is an innovative workforce development program that trains individuals for careers in high-demand technology. TCP provides comprehensive technical skills training and certification, professional support, job training, financial services, and career placement services for low-income adults with a high school diploma or GED. We serve a diverse student body, including high school graduates with limited access to traditional universities, military veterans, and career changers trained for high-paying jobs in the technology sector.

TechBridge seeks an energetic, self-directed, data-driven and organized Program Manager to support the Vice-President of Programs. The Program Manager will manage the overall Program from start to finish, develop project timelines and goals, monitor and evaluate our process to ensure a high standard and quality. The PM will lead all aspects of enrollment, while coordinating with Student Success and Learning and Development to ensure that we enroll students that will persist to graduation. The PM will be highly visible in the Atlanta community and will be responsible for successfully managing nonprofit and corporate partner relationships.

Equally important to this role is the operational management of vendor contracts, budgeting, keeping our playbooks up to date, supporting the marketing and outreach of our gradatuates, program, and the impact of TCP.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Program Planning

  • Foster and nurture key external relationships necessary for program success

  • Forecast, plan, and implement each new partner

  • Create a roadmap and necessary materials for onboarding a new partner

  • Design and communicate program calendar to include technology, business, and financial literacy classes

  • Implement criteria for curriculum, certifications, instructors, and applicants in collaboration with the TCP department.

  • Communicate and implement program policies and procedures

  • Monitor vendor contracts, responsibilities, and reporting

  • Direct and implement changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.

  • Provide a schedule of events to stakeholders regularly

  • Gather input from stakeholders and ensure program execution aligns with program goals

  • Support marketing strategy with the marketing team

  • Support program growth through collaboration, strategic planning, and goal setting with the leadership team

Program Oversight and Execution:

  • Responsible for organizing, planning, administering, and supervising the Program through cohort enrollment to post-program.

  • Schedule and facilitate team meetings between TechBridge employees and contractors

  • Work with partners to drive day to day execution of workforce development programs

  • Evaluate and improve programs based on feedback from key stakeholders.

  • Data Reporting and Performance Management

  • Implements a system of motivators for coaching and monitoring students in a remote setting

  • Documents and tracks milestones for all deliverables and KPIs

  • Collects and evaluates outcomes to support the strategic direction of the Program

  • Supports the evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement

  • Produces accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout the program life cycle

  • Able to manage and define ambiguity.

  • Strong written and presentation skills. Ability to have a highly technical conversation with IT teams as well as simplify complex topics to non-technical audiences

  • Organization and time management. Ability to manage multiple project timelines and meeting schedules.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4-year university degree or equivalent work experience in a professional setting

  • Five years of experience as a Program Manager or equivalent work experience

  • Microsoft Office knowledge, including SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce

  • Ability to present to diverse audiences

  • Strong writing and communication skillsBudget management experience

  • Experience developing, managing, and executing a project plan against deadlines and within budget

  • Ability to work occasional evenings

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical background

  • Educational experience in computer science, engineering, STEM, and higher education

  • Experience using OneNote, Higher IQ, Zoom, Google Classroom, Slack

  • Some travel for key events, strategic meetings, and community outreach (10%)

  • Project management certification
